About me
Working during the holidays in my father’s fashion business, Hershelle & Young Mayfair, gave me an interest and understanding in the design and manufacturing process of garments. After a career change I began selling pre-loved and vintage clothes at London's Portobello Market. It was there that I started buying 1940's dresses and one in particular was such a great cut it inspired what is now the Dorothy dress. Customers have called it "the perfect dress"! From there other designs were created, the Annie dress, the Jumpsuit and more recently the Abigail.
I love that the fabric is sourced in England and my factory is in London. Bringing manufacturing back to where the textile industry once thrived brings me great pleasure, whilst keeping the carbon footprint down to a minimum.
